The Future Tense...

Yeap, it's week 7 now, TIME REALLY FLIES, so far I can conclude that the keyword for Graphic Design is busy yet fun at the same time. Since the start of this course, I do learn a lot and ya...of course, rushing with the course-works which come each week non-stop, that's why I'm still posting here XD but anyway, I really enjoy the process of learning in U compare to secondary, the lecturer and tutor here are kind as well, I can say the entire learning session is stressless although it's not in a well environment condition. Haha..that's all my thought regarding this course. And now the long waiting answer for the questions requested by Dr. Ray. Well...it's quite a long time I didn't update my blog since the day I received the questions,  still not use to it anyway. So, what exactly I want from this course? emm...there's a lot, but most importantly the knowledge I think, more likely the general knowledge, because without general knowledge, we cant really generate an idea, without the idea, we cant do anything. That's what makes general knowledge important in our life, the more we learn, the more we know, the more we know, the more we can apply in our life. Come to talk about what I want to be doing in the coming 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, I will say that everything start from gaining experience, that's what I want! Start by gaining experience in the field of design is my very 1st goal. So in the coming 5 years, I wish I could travel around within Malaysia or even to the other countries as to gain more inspirations in just the way I can apply it into my design in the future. In the coming 10 years, I planned to explore more in the design's field as a free-lance graphic designer, in advance, to gain experience as well. What about 20 years after?! umm....organize a personal exhibition? too big for me, Retire? Design has became a part of my life, there's no way I can quit from doing that! Well...I have no idea still on what to do after 20 years. Next, what do I hope to get from this particular class? Skill I guess, because different class acquire different skill, for example, the photoshop stuff we learned from computer graphic, we learned how to clog images and also refine the images after clogging, and many other skills which can be apply in our job later during internship as well as in the future. Furthermore, we learn how to critic an artwork in term of it's element of arts and principles of organization by analyzing the artwork, and also how to judge in History of Art and Design.....

Finally, the last question, ya...I think History of Art and Design is necessary for my larger goal because through History of Art and Design, we know the culture and also the ethical that take place within that specific era, from 'Before Common Era' until today, as well as the design which we could apply with in our artworks, yeap...that's all!
